I recently watched portions of the BBC/Discovery program “Life,” which features some amazing nature photography. In the deleted scenes was a section about the mating habits of flamingos:
These colourful birds gather in large groups to pick a mate, and slowly begin a parade as they pair up. Eventually, they’re all moving in sync! It’s spectacular to watch. I don't think the BBC/Discovery footage is available online, but I found a clip from PBS's "Nature" on YouTube for you to get an idea:
